Instagram Link Not Working? Common Fixes
Getting an error when pasting an Instagram link? Learn the most common reasons why links fail and how to easily fix them.

1. The Account is Private
The #1 reason a link fails is that the account is private. Our tool can only fetch media from public accounts. If you follow a private account on your personal Instagram, you can see their posts, but our public server cannot.
2. Incorrect Link Format
Ensure you are copying the direct post link. Links copied from Instagram Messages (DMs) often have temporary routing structures. Always copy the link directly from the post using the "Share" > "Copy Link" button.
3. The Post Was Deleted
If the creator deleted the Reel or Story, or if it expired (in the case of stories), the link will no longer work.
If a link has a lot of extra characters at the end (like ?igsh=1234), don't worry. Our downloader automatically strips tracking parameters to find the clean URL.
